On Sunday, January 27, 2019, OPC Community Outreach Specialist Denise E. Blackson presented to consumers at the St. Martin’s Church Health Fair, 1908 North Capitol Street NW in the Ward 5 Community.  

Ms. Blackson also responded to questions Ms. Blackson provided tips on energy efficiency programs, explained how OPC works on behalf of utility ratepayers to resolve utility issues and OPC’s different energy efficiency outreach programs to more than 50 consumers. Ms. Blackson also responded to questions concerning; How can a consumer participate in an Energy Efficiency Workshop? Why specific fees appear on my utility bill? And; Will the Office of the People’s Counsel take on water complaints?
